So, Ned was delivered today, by Revolution campers, hopefully we’ll have many happy days out and breaks away , I can’t wait for a bit warmer weather,
We go to concerts (well, we did before COVID) we mostly stayed overnight in premier inns etc, but was hopeing we’d save a bit of cash by sleeping in Ned, does anyone do this, as we used to camp and sometimes they close campsite gates normally before the concert would have ended and we’d travelled back, can you stay in the venue car parks? Or isn’t this allowed ?

sleeping on site when the concert finishes....
when 50 or 60 of me turn up and start stripping 16, 40 tonne trucks worth of staging, lighting, scaff, sound kit and cabling out ten mins after the curtain, and as soon as we finish, the seating guys rip them out and then the flooring guys start. its normally done by about 6pm the following day though.
sweet dreams...
Ok now you’ve spelt that out it doesn’t seem such a good idea, we normally tucked up in a premier inn when your doing your stuff
Got to ask a question if you don’t know the answer though ;)
Thanks for your reply
one is most welcome. if its a 2 or three nighter, you may get lucky but on rock and roll (one nighters) we are stripping the gear as the artists are walking off...and most of us did this for years, so we shout...a lot....coz we`re all deaf...
however, a lot of us did have small camper vans for just the same reason. we could do our bit then get our heads down till we was needed again.
