I have a Truma Trumatic S3002 which when needed I only use for electric heating. Unfortunately although the fan works ok the heater does not.
Turning the Ultra Heat on, usually to 2000, normally activates a blue indicator light but now does not turn on the light nor deliver any heating. The fan runs ok on manual but only delivers cold air.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so I would be very pleased to know how you cured it.
I am confused here. Surely the Truma Trumatic S3002 is a gas heater? Yet you talk about electric heating. I would have thought that the only electric part was the fan, or possibly ignition.
Have you checked the fuses/RCD?
The fan works from the 12V supply but the heating element will require 240V hookup. Both parts (fan and heater) will have seperate fuses.
Worth checking to see if it works on gas too as it could be a thermostat issue.

Is this a dual fuel heater then? Well we learn something every day.

How do I check the fuses I am not sure of how to locate them on the RCD?
The RCD is a sort of re-settable fuse- it does not have fuses itself.
I would expect any fuses to be part of the heater. Does the handbook show where (if any) they are?
I believe this unit also has high temp cutouts which may have tripped. There are also reports of these being problematic.
