Just bought a 1998 Jap import Toyota Regius Hiace registered in UK 2015 as Campervan and looking for best insurance companies and likely cost? My own two insurance companies for my Infiniti SUV and Citroen DS3 won't insure and quote from one company is very high at £480 I think.
Welcome to UKCS.
Use the Search tab as there are many threads asking this question, and a good dozen suggested insurers.
We use Saga but you may be too young.
Thanks both suggestions. I am with Saga for one of my cars and although 9+ years no claims discount and 61 years with no accidents they won't insure.
Have now got a good quote from Caravan Guard so will likely go with them.
I went with Safeguard as recommended by Young Conversions that carried out the conversion for me.
I got a discount, can't remember what %, for being referred by them.
They insured their own vans for personal use with Safeguard too.
I was able to select Young Conversions from Safeguard's drop down list of converters known to them when I was trying to obtain a quote.

try either Adrian Flux or comfort. At the moment I am with comfort but I always get a quote each year from both these and have found them to be a lot cheaper than others and normally around £25 difference between them,
reason I went for comfort they didn't make a big deal about not having a tracker and their breakdown cover abroad was for 90 days in 180 where as flux was only 60 days
