Hi to all ,have anyone got any good info on good places to park a Morotorhome in Braunton or nearby ,free/farmers field:
Or campsite , please and thanks

Have a look at this website as it states the following:
The book features country pubs, farm shops, vineyards, breweries, craft / antiques centres, etc. all offering an invitation through the Brit Stops scheme to stay over for one night in your motorhome or campervan in a safe environment - free of charge!
The link I originally posted doesn't work so deleted it but the website is Britstops.com
You must buy the Britstops book every year (February, if I remember) before you can stay at their sites; overnight (1 night). Some lovely places, takes about 5 stops to pay for the book.
As said there are quite a few campsites round Braunton, including a couple of summer only basic bites (a field with facilities). Some are on the site finder on this site or just a quick Google will let you know the current situation.
For 'free' camping you have to bear in mind that Braunton/Saunton/Croyde are surfers mecca and there are more campervans and motorhomes in that area than I have ever seen before meaning that free overnight parking is discouraged due to sheer numbers. In addition the roads around Braunton are very narrow with few laybys and, between Saunton and Croyde, are on a cliff edge.
The Caen car park in Braunton itself used to allow overnight parking for a fee. The back part of the car park behind the surf school and near the Police station is the quietist, but you must fit into the space or you may get a ticket. I would check if this is still allowed as things might have changed with covid.
The few laybys on the roads nearby are narrow, tight to get into and noisy from road traffic but even then you'll be lucky to find a space.
Thanks you all , it’s my son he was surfing 🏄🏽♂️there last year I didn’t go with him and know he’s nagging us to take him back in the Motorhome 🏄🏽♂️
Thanks again 👍
