Help our lunar road star 786 is not filling up with fresh water. It takes only a few litres then overflows as if full. Display inside shows 0% fresh water.

Hi, welcome to UKCS.

This may sound silly but is it possible that the tank is full but the gauge is faulty?

Is this a persistent problem or is it something that has just happened after a long period of not being used?

If I had this problem I would try emptying the tank to see how much water came out and then filling it up again.

Tank definitely not full as empty again after washing dishes 2 times today.

First time we’ve used since last Oct and all was fine then.

Could be air stuck in the system. Try turning the pump off, opening a tap and trying to fill the tank.

Not sure on your set up but my whale filler has a small gauze filter inside the filler inlet. After prolonged non use the “crap” from inside the food quality filling hose loosens off and gets caught by the gauze preventing the tank from being filled.
