Can anybody tell is the battery setting only for when you travelling as mine seems to work fine when driving but not when stationary?

Not sure what you actually mean
There are 4 settings,
OFF
GAS
EHU
12V FROM THE engine
When travelling it should be on the symbol “battery”, the fridge will only be powered when this is selected as long as the engine is running

Yes that’s it I thought it would work off the leisure battery when stationary but obviously not,never needed it before we usually go on the hook up but with everywhere so busy lately we had to do without,thanks for the advice all the best jeff

They are not meant to be run off the battery when stationary as, if they were wired up that way, you would flatten the battery in no time at all !    When pitched up either use gas or EHU.

We couldn’t use our old MH fridge on gas because the burner was goosed. It was fine for a night off grid. Just use the fridge like a cool box. It cooled down again once we were back on the road.
