hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the so called Friendly caravan club. I recently asked them a question about a month ago
I even sent the message 4 0r 5 times but NO Response.

I thought I would ask the same Question to the Motorhome club all though
I did use live chat & the response was Immediate .

Any Views guys n galls.

If, by the Friendly Caravan Club, you mean the Camping and Caravanning Club, I joined several years ago and only stayed for 1 year. Without going into details which I have done more than once on these boards, due to the membership fee, the loss of a deposit, and the lack of club sites close enough to where I wanted to visit, it cost me a lot more over the course of a year than it normally cost me using commercial sites. I also found that the pitches on the only two club sites I went to were not the best for tents and more suited to wheeled units. It wasn't worth it for me as a solo tent camper but others may have a different view.

I assume you’re talking about the Caravan & Camping Club C&CC rather than what was until recently the Caravan Club (now Caravan & MH Club CAMC). .
There are many reasons to be in either club - and to be in neither. We’ve discussed the merits of both clubs many times here on UKCS.
How one of them responds during Covid might not be typical. I can’t talk to my GP either.
