Thinking about buying a pair of motorhome wing mirror protectors and I was wondering if one size fits all with Milenco protectors.
Our wing mirrors measure ( 14"--35.cm high x 8"- 20.cm wide. ).
I have seen them on Amazon for between £60 for long variety and £70 for others.
Which one do I buy?
Hi Len
I bought mine of Ebay at £34 for the pair at the end of last year. They were vehicle specific and just fitted with sticky foam strips that were already attached. Mine are about 15" high x 8" wide. Bought after I had a collision with mine and ended up replace one complete wing mirror. They have certainly taken any other knocks I have had. Hope this has been some kind of help to you.
Andy
If you are thinking of buying the Milenco ones buy them as soon as possible since I went to a store 2 weeks ago and they had no stock of the short arm black, went yesterday to buy them and the price has increased by £10. I believe all the stockists are increasing the price of them as they get new stock.
You just need to Google or get a list of suppliers from the Milenco website.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Yes arm size refers to the length of the brackets between the mirror and motorhome body.
Generally a van conversion will require the short arm version whereas a motorhome will require the long arm version, however, please note there are exceptions.
Easiest thing to do if you are going in to a local stockist is to take a photo of your mirror and ask them to confirm which you need.
