You could do that, but you still risk getting it seized if stopped by the police. If you don't register it until you get back to Spain, how can you prove it is yours, how can you insure it if you are not the registered owner?

Yes you could but are you familiar enough with the Spanish system to be able to check on their stolen vehicle database that such a motorhome was not stolen ? Like I said it would be too dodgy to contemplate.

You appear to want a UK built Lhd motorhome on Spanish plates yes ? Autosleeper & Autotrail are now owned by Trigano & do make some Lhd motorhomes for the European market but you could probably only buy one new in Europe not UK.

I would think any Lhd Spanish reg motorhome being sold by a Brit owner would most likely not be UK built anyway.

Can you provide details & link as to how to make this so ? If one is buying motorhome privately on UK plates then you check vehicle is sellers to sell with no finance owing by paying £20 on HPI website to check vehicle is clear. HPI is indemnified against mistakes so that is definitive & one can go ahead & buy motorhome.

Anybody contemplating buying a Spanish reg motorhome would need access to a similar system that presumably exists in Spain ? Can you give a detailed description with link as to how a potential buyer could check sellers title on a Spanish reg motorhome ?
