I've seen a German one on site, it had a pop top roof if I remember rightly.
Google "VW Caddy camper conversion kit", there's a page of websites.
There have also been threads on here about boxes that you can fit into the back of a people carrier or similar for camping.

I used to have one . I used van furnitures set, it was ideal as caddy’s are basically only the bed . I used a decathlon awning on the back and added some simple folding tables on the rear down . Basic set up but it got the job done and was an awesome van. I’m now onto a vw bay window .
