We had a similar situation with our Bailey last year, due in April, finally collected in June. Some friends of ours ordered a Chausson in October, they reckon they'll be lucky to get it before August.
Generally, there are world wide shortages of all sorts of component and materials following on from Covid that are still to be addressed, some of this is reduced production capacity, some of it is down to a shortage of shipping containers. Electronic chips are an example of the items affected by this. One component of ours was finally fitted in October. I don't expect Pilote are going to be exempt from any of this.
One of the factors which affected us taking delivery of ours were delays caused by the DVLA working to rule, the dealer was allowing 3 weeks for this once they'd taken delivery of the motorhome.
Finger's crossed you get yours in May.
