Hi,we have an old 2002 avantgarde 400 RL motorhome , it has a revenue weight of 2800kg ( whatever that is ? ) .It is a 2 axle rigid body and the tyre size is 195/70R15C 104/102R 65 PSI max.
I dont possess a hand book for it ,I tried an online tyre pressure checker and it came back with 55 psi Front and 59 psi Rear .
does this sound about right? and would this be a laden or unladen figure?
Any help on this much appreciated
Hi Fiona ,we are in the MH now and you were right there is a label inside our drivers door , thanks , it states 43 PSI front and rear , this seems a bit low and I am not sure if this laden or unladen ?
thanks for input
The maximum pressure will be on the tyres too, along with the tyre dates. (Ideally they shouldn’t be more than 7 years old, because the material degrades. We had 2 blowouts because we ignored that.)
Oops. Didn’t clock it in all the other figures.
I’d hope someone with your model of MH would come on & be specific. Little point telling you what our AS Nuevo handbook says.
Thanks Fiona ,for your help, much appreciated, really enjoying the MH life , hopefully if I reach my state pension in three years,am looking to upgrade to a more modern 4 berth MH that is better suited to our Down syndrome 22 year old lad , at the moment this MH is ok and we love it ,kind regards Ken Linda and Adam
