Hi, I have a waeco coolmatic 12/24v fridge in my campervan. Is it ok to drive with this on? My 40amp fuse between batteries keeps blowing when I'm driving, could the fridge cause this?

I don't know about waeco fridges, but generally you would have the fridge on when driving. Why not switch it off and see if the fuse blows?

I thought you could have it on... Thanks. I am going to try it off while driving tomorrow and see. Trying to eliminate causes of the fuse blowing.

What fuse is blowing??? and between what batteries??

Sounds like you may be using a split charger with the 40amp fuse between the vehicle battery and the leisure batteries. If so, then this is the most likely reason the fuses are blowing..

We have a Webasto 12vdc fridge and always run it when we leave the house to when we get home.
