You can get stuff called "Sticky Stuff Remover" We have some its pretty good. Sorry my wife can't remember where it came from. I expect the well known online retailer will have it!
T Cut would probably do,the job too.

I will use all sorts, probably to the disgust of others. WD40, White Spirit, Petrol, Lighter fluid, Shop bought products. It can be the very devil to get rid of. Paint renovator can work too. Just add a bit of polish after getting rid of the sticky stuff.

Either : White spirit, Surgical spirit or nail varnish remover. Just depends what the 'glue' is. Have to try it and see what works.
I wouldn't use Nail Varnish Remover, it's generally Acetone and/or other equally strong solvents which can be VERY aggressive and damaging to many paints and plastics!
WD40, or Tar Spot Remover (car cleaning product) also work.
Usually takes successive cleans to remove entirely, as 'sticky' gets thinner and spreads around with first efforts.
Another product which can remove adhesive residue is Avon Skin-So-Soft. Spray it on, leave for a few minutes then wipe off with a dry cloth. Works wonders at safely removing tree sap from car paintwork, too!
