In light of the draught and hose pipe ban, it would seem wasteful to discharge the 80L+ water currently in my van, filled up for the last trip back in July 2022, when it will only be used for flushing the toilet if and when I use it.
I would draw fresh water from the taps when I am on site for my next trip soon, using the kettle (to boil for hot drinks, for what's left to be transferred to the glass jug) and a glass jug (to be kept in the fridge).
I don't drink from the fresh water tank, and when I tried to boil the water from it, it fizzled all over the place so I don't do that anymore.
