I'm considering having a caper alarm and immobiliser fitted and was recommended an "Autowatch 457 Eli with internal PIR and fort sensor installers"
Does anyone know of an installer in Oxfordshire?
If no one comes along with a definitive answer why not contact Autowatch.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Can't help with your enquiry directly, but no one takes much notice of alarms going off these days, so mostly only of use if in earshot of you! An effective immobiliser on the other hand can be beneficial.
Often greatest benefit is getting a discount on insurance, BUT the insurance company have to recognise the alarm and installer (usually no DIY type fitting or any old alarm!) as meeting their criteria, worth checking that your chosen alarm/installer does get the discount if one offered by insurer, it can be a substantial discount.

Rather a pessimistic reply. My hope is that a thief considering stealing the camper would see the winking lights inside it and push of.
Doesn’t work with car alarms, does it? There has been much previous discussion on security: parking your car behind the camper; top quality steering wheel locks; pedal locks; wheel locks (that’s what my local dealer uses) - you’ll find these suggestions if you search the forum. But if you look at UKCS database of stolen vehicles, and the context, you’ll see that if someone wants to steal your vehicle (maybe to order), they’ll come equipped & be off with it in minutes. You can deter the opportunist thief - the supermarket car park where you weren’t going to be long so you didn’t bother with the steering wheel lock.
