Having sold our beloved motorhome (Bessy) in 2018 - needed the money for house renovation - we ventured back into 'camping' with a caravan (Bob) last year.
I personally hated the travelling/towing (although I was only ever the passenger!) so after almost 12 months we sold Bob.
On the way home, thinking we would be without anything for some time we found an Elddis Autoquest CV60 (camper van) and put down a deposit......so we're back (at the end of March anyway)!!
No more hitching up, motor-moving and generally messing around. We took a massive hit (financially) on the caravan and the CV was not cheap but it's only money, you can't take it with you! LOL
Here's to many more adventures in Evan.

Oh the guilt we felt when we changed from a big tent to a MH the same size. Still remember the excitement of that first trip, deliciously unaware that its years being used for fishing trips meant a lot of things didn’t work or were in incorrectly fitted. (Big list at its habitation service when we got home.)
Still love being able to drive up, hook up & sit out. Wishing you many happy years!!
After having caravanned for some 30 years and hubby even longer, we’ve paid a deposit in a motorhome and due to collect next week. Never used a motorhome before, but I’m sure we’ll soon adapt
Glad to hear/see that you are back. Well done. But feel for you taking that loss, when everyone selling chicken huts are making a bomb. Forget it, your back and I can't wait for the stories where when etc. Enjoy. Get your new diary, make your notes.
