They all add to the steering. Usually a suitable column and motor plus electronics from another vehicle. The existing columns are cut and the donor parts welded in. What is it that you are looking at?

I never got it done yet, I have a 93 renault trafic , no one seems to get back from any garage, I am in Edinburgh , tried fb no joy there either

Someone on here recently said they run a / the Renault Trafic FB (I think it was, rather than WhatsApp etc). Hopefully it wasn’t in an ancient thread that has been dug up.
