Message from my other half. He wants to know:
Our Elddis CV60 (2021) alarm is no longer working.
Has anyone any ideas of how to troubleshoot?
It happened after a front window was left open overnight by accident.
The alarm has two modes. The second only sounds if the doors are
opened and this was enabled at the time. So the alarm itself did not
go off.
Now though when the alarm is activated there is no corresponding sound
to indicate its on, though the blue LED does flash.
The when armed the alarm does trigger if the door is opened with the
indicators flashing. But there is no horn sound.
So it may be just the horn that is not working for some reason,
We have tried various resets including disconnecting the vehical
battery and switched the "alarm" fuse but none seem to have worked.
Any ideas of what to try welcome
