Hi im looking for a portable solar panel that can charge my leisure batterys when not hooked up? Ideally its got two crocodile clips to go on the battery plus can fit in my window. Any ideas would be great. Thanks Andrew.
Photonic Universe 80 watt 12 volt folding solar charging kit for motorhome.
£169.99 though OH paid less than this. OH says you might be happy with the 40 watt system at £120. Quality is exceptional.
Apparently the ones you charge through glass are not as efficient. Or on dull days. You need more power than for trickle charging your car battery.
This kit comes with a proper socket and is much safer. You might need an extension cable too.
You can get 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 single panels which can be put on the dash.
We got this Eco-Worthy 120W which sits in our caravan front window and then folds up into a carry package when not in use. It does the job well, we have no complaints. Although it's not built for sitting in the rain, you can hang it outside for more power if it's dry weather.

Why do you say Eco-Worthy are not suitable for placing out in the rain?
We have the 50 watt version and that is left outside all the time whilst in storage. No Ill effects to date.

I did not say "Eco-Worthy are not suitable for placing out in the rain". They do two types - one is a soft cover and by their own admission is not suitable for outdoors in bad weather, the other is made for outdoors in bad weather, I assume you have one of the latter. The one I linked to is one of the former.

I’d avoid crocodile clips and instead wire a decent suitable socket to the battery and a plug to the end of the solar lead.
Take a look at Anderson connectors. They are available in various sizes but standard PV cable is 6mm2. If you decide to you MC4 connectors they are ok but can be difficult to separate without a tool after prolonged use.I have two 80W panels connected in parallel but in the summer I only need one if I am on a site with no EHU. In the winter (even in the south of England) the two panels are only just enough even on a sunny day. If you are handy with basic DIY it can save a pile of cash if you get a basic panel and make your own stand for it.
