Hello we have just bought a motorhome and had our first trip a short while ago. When we stopped at the services and bought drinks our sons were complaining they had nowhere to put their drinks and had to hold them until they had finished. (The car had inbuilt cup holders). Putting them on the table obviously wasn't an option as they might slide off. We can't be the only ones with this problem, does anyone have any suggestions please?

You can buy clip on cup holders to attach to the table - you then slot cups or cans into them. Or you can get screw on holders that are usually used for prams, same results.
Try a Google search for clip on / screw cup holders - they range from a couple of pound upwards. There are also ones meant for boats, much more sturdy but you pay a price.

Thanks for your reply Dot, I'll have a look for some cup holders that can attach to the table seems like a good solution.
Thanks for your reply Fiona, but our boys don't drink coffee. Obviously we could just not drink on our journey, but we do like to keep hydrated. We do take refillable bottles of water, but sometimes we like to get ourselves and our boys a treat on a long journey such as a milk shake and we don't really want to wait ages for them to finish their drinks before continuing with our journey, or don't want them to drink their drinks quickly before setting off and then start to feel sick. I don't think that using non-slip mats would work, but thanks for the suggestion. I can see your point that if you don't use drink holders yourself then you won't miss them, but we have been used to having them and are missing them and therefore are asking for some options that would suit us.

Thanks Triaxle that sounds like a good option too. I'll search for one.

We have cup / glass holders. They resemble a huge Laundry Peg. Plastic and come in several colours. Made by a German Company called Gimex.
A little expensive but they are sturdy and can be used when not travelling also.

Similar, if not the same design, on Amazon.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
