Hello everyone. JUST bought my new (second hand/self build) camper and it does not yet have a gas hob.
Its a VW Caddy , so small campervan with a side galley, wooden worktop that has a sink and running water with pump.
I already have a calor gas 907 , 4.5kg butane small bottle , regulator and rubber hose , from my last van.
The galley counter is long and slim and the room I have to install a countertop , 2 gas hob burner is a maximum of 35cm in depth , but , the length can be anything.
I just purchased a CAN FC1336-P hob , which is 53cm x 34cm. Seems perfect.
So , I have taken it out of the box and I am quite simply overwhelmed. I havent a clue where to begin. The unit does not even include a template to cut the hole ! (It does have printed dimensions though)
So , i need an expert to fit it for me. It will involve cutting a slot in to my worktop and then fitting/connecting the thing up.
It can be a talented amateur OR a professional campervan converter business.
I LIVE in central London , so , would prefer a Greater London or home Counties fitter.
Please can anyone recommend anyone who could do it in the next 2/3 weeks ?
I could also RETURN the hob I have purchased , if you are a campervan fitter who already has your own stock of slim hobs.
Thank You
Steve
