I have campervan insurance through RIPE which doesn't cover any valuables in the campervan at all. Only fixtures & fittings.
I have home contents insurance which covers valuables abroad but not if left unattended, no matter how short a time. So if we use motorway services bathrooms we have to take our phones, Ipads, camera, laptop, drone, wireless modem etc. all with us or accept the risk of uninsured loss.
Some Motorhome policies offer valuables cover with the vehicle insurance but we already have the vehicle covered and our insurer only covers jewelry not electronics.
Does anyone know of any company that offers insurance of valuables left in a locked campervan - say to maximum of £4k and covered in Europe also?
