I've been searching for MH/Camper Van for a while now but I really don't want to deal with private sellers anymore. Particularly with my latest debacle on the T5 in another post. I know there are genuine people out there but I must be a .... magnet the hassle I have had.

Anyway I will now buy from a dealer but really struggling to find anyone in my vicinity - can anyone recommend a nice genuine family type dealership near to Rayleigh. I want to stay fairly close in case of any faults etc but would be will to travel 1.5 hours.

Cranham - dubious rep
Pullingers was told we are on their list - never heard a thing in six months
Kent Kampers - enquired but nothing back
Rainham - closed down

I am literally sitting here with 16k cash as a deposit but also willing to finance up to 35k total but no one seem to want my money.

The ads will say if they are from trade or a private seller.

Quirks in Wickford had a couple of motorhomes but they probably are a bit light on the habitation side.

You could get a mobile engineer to help you

There's a small dealer in Ely Cambridge that hires MHs but also sells some. He's not got many for sale but he seems a real genuine bloke and also services them etc.
They are called New Marque Motorhomes and advertise on Autotrader. Think they also have a website.

Do you have an idea what you are looking for in particular or is it general browsing? If you know what make/model you are after then you may well find you will have to/be prepared to travel a fair way to a dealer.

outdoor shows - warners have shows on with dealers from all over, makes a nice weekend away, but none are local to you.

Or the NEC show in October will have more choice than you can cope with looking at, although all new they will give you an idea of models that you can work back to an age that suits your budget.
