Hi there,
My Vivaro camper conversion has an electric opener but the seals have perrished on the roof and let water in. Now the roof won't open. When I press the button nothing happens at all, it doesn't even make a noise.
I need to get the roof open so that I can initially replace the seals before looking into repairing the motor/electric opening system.
My question is, where should I look for the manual override? does anyone have a photo of what it will look like? any instructions etc.?
Any help would be greatly received as I would like to sort out what I can myself as I am on a budget.
thank you for reading

Do you know who did the conversion? if so best bet is to reach out to them.

Or is there a Vivaro owners club you could get info from.

Welcome to UKCS.
You need to find out who fitted the pop-top. Might even be a DIY job by a previous owner & not the firm that converted the base vehicle, judging by https://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/threads/elevating-roof-pop-top.436768/
Your pop-top might also be the same as one fitted onto a VW (or other) conversion, so don’t limit your Google search to Vivaro.

Hi,

unfortunately not knowing anything about the conversion means that as you say it could be anything.... makes it more difficult really.

I didn't know if there was a 'usual spot' to fix the mechanism that someone could guide me to. Looks like I will have to take all of the boxing out to pieces which is what I wanted to avoid really.

thanks though.

Is there an owners club, like I suggested, that you could reach out to?
