Hi there,

My father has a 1987 Swift Kon Tiki and when he bought it was told that the tyre pressures should be 28 however this seems very low .... does anyone know if this is correct or where I might find this information,

Many thanks, Tess

if you look on the side of the tyres ; in small print it will tell you the max pressure when cold and the max load it can carry at that pressure.my fronts are continental van max pressure is 65 psi, i run them at 60 psi to allow for expansion. the rear are mitchelin camper and their max is 85 psi, i run them at 75 psi for the same reason as the fronts, but also as 85 gives a hard ride. hope this helps.

My 1991 Swift Kon-tiki  2.5 d.  640/6  recommended tyre pressures are 4.2bar--60lb psi.front and rear.

These pressures are as recommended and are shown on a plate recessed into the N/S rear wheel arch.

Hope this helps.
