Just a quick thank you to all the people who helped make our first motorhome break such a great holiday. We got to Glencoe,Fortwilliam,Skye,Ullapool, and down the west coast back to Dunoon. We now know how it all works including the gas!The Sundance was great and everyone we met was helpful and always ready to share a glass of wine.I posted a couple of weeks ago and the advice was useful. What a great way to spend a holiday and my arm is aching because on the road everyone waved at us as well. Now looking at the mags to see if any cheap 2/3 berth vans around!

Great to here you had a good time - I am so envious, that area of the UK is fabulous!

I'm hoping to get up there soon.

Did you see any of 'my' otters on your travels?

Hi Terrier, glad to hear you had a great time and hope you find a suitable camper soon, as I know you'll be wanting to do it more and more.

The waving 'bit' is to as many motorhomes as you feel inclined to wave to, no matter what type, though I would suggest not doing it on camp sites...lol... it could become a little tedious.

I'm sure your tent days are numbered as we sold ours very soon after buying the motorhome and can't see any point in going back to it - and I loved tent camping.

All the best

Phil
