just had to have a new windscreen in my vw kameo the metal that the rubber clips on was in very good condition but with very slight signs of surface rust well you cant start rubbing down and touching up paintwork while the fitter waits so is there any thing like the clear waxoil that can be sprayed under the rubber to protect the metal but not damage the rubber.

allso the side windows are showing signs of rust creep from under the rubber can you get wider rubbers to refit the same windows after cleaning up the problem areas
