Sorry for a bombardment of questions....
We stayed at a campsite for the first time in our new motorhome last weekend, and felt fairly novice as we literally had our van, the wind out awning and a table & a couple of chairs outside. Everyone else, in either motorhomes, caravans or tents, seemed to have loads of extras like awnings, windbreaks, extra tents etc etc.
Are there any specific rules to what you can put on your pitch? Do you get charged extra? As we are taking our dog this coming weekend, we want to keep her confined, so putting a wind break just beyond the awning would be ideal. However, I don't want to encroach on someone else's pitch or get moaned at.
Also, my son will be sleeping in the awning inside a pup tent. We've declared him on the booking, so can anyone tell me if there are any set rules that say you can't have a pup tent inside an awning?
Many thanks
Sara (feeling rather the novice at the moment)

Are we unusual in that the only thing we'll usually have on our pitch is the motorhome itself? We don't even use an awning.
I find it unusual when I see little pine trees standing by a tent's entrance, or people carrying small fences and flowers from home to simulate a small garden in front of their caravan (seen all of this in Uppsala, Sweden)
Quickly hides her potted plants and fencing behind the nearest windbreak (just kidding)
