Hi all, another wee problem has arisen with the m/h we cant get the loo to flush it worked when we bought it it is a thretford cassette i think there called ,any ideas please.
Have you filled the top bit with water, this depends what model of cassette you've got fitted. Our van spec said ours was a C3? which fills from the main water tank, but on looking it was a C2? which needed to be filled manually before use.
Hi again, feel really dumb i now know its a C2 but we cant find where the fuse is ,we have filled it from the top ,thanks bigmoney2.Daydrimor how do we know if the pump is switched on? where's the switch?.
On ours there is a panel above the back doors which has the water fill level indicator, 12v on/off switch, and pump on/off switch. ours is an autosleeper harmony and the panel is very obvious so would assume yours is different
We had a the same problem with our Kontiki a few years ago. The problem was caused by a little micro switch which is located in the area where the cassette goes. This little switch is to stop the toilet being flushed when the cassette is not in place, when you remove the cassette it opens the electrical circuit and stops the flush. Our switch became faulty and we had to replace it. Its not an expensive item, its just awkward to replace. Good luck.
Fortunately the van is still under warranty We took it back to the dealer yesterday and it turned out it was the switch , it must have been a bit of a pig to replace as they were working on it for six hours anyway alls well at the moment, thanks for all you're help,
I saw peteandjay say to contact them (on another topic) about travel to Slovenia and Croatia. I don't know how to message directly, so I am hoping they will see this.
(I'm sorry this post has absolutely nothing to do with loos!)
I hope so, just really to pic your brains about travels to the former Yugoslavia - esp. Slovenia & Croatia - any useful tips, navigation information, campsite locations, things to avoid, things to look out for. (Sorry I know this still isn't a loo problem!)
Unless your loo stops working while in Slovenia... perhaps info on motorhome/caravan service centres in that area could be useful to take with you too.
