Carrying on with the subject - is any solo/single parents going to the meet at new year in Wrenbury, Cheshire? I have looked on the thread and apart from Lava Lamp and myself, there appears to be only couples with/without kids so far.

Hi Bill

The 3pg's looks really nice and I would like to try it in summer when more people are camping, but from what you are saying there will not be anyone else there - dont think I would feel safe on my own! would rather go to a proper camp site or organised meets like the uk campsite ones - safety in numbers.

Sorry, did consider the Cheshire meet but decided to go to the one in Suffolk instead. Don't know of there will be any other solos there but it doesn't bother me and never has, as long as there are other kids for mine to pal up with I'm quite happy to befriend couples.
