Don't come any cooler that a a VW Splittie, but will cost you a fair penny (although a LOT less than a new T4/T5 based VW camper). T25's are gaining greter acceptence by the VW community. Try these ads :

If you go for a T2 (splittie or Bay) or T25, be sure you have someone come with you who knows what they're looking at, filler and paint can cover a whole lot of problems on any old vehicle, the body is the thing to check, the (aircooled) engines are reliable & easily fixed.
