Hey there Paragon   :-),there great if you have an old un,they go round corners sideways, you stand up to turn the steering ,you correct the steering every 2 foot, you have a bit of string as a bonnet pull, the fuel gauge reads 3/4 even when its running out the fuel cap ,the drivers window falls out ,a teaspoon opens them  ,dont know about new transit campers as never had one above A  redg (1984) youll never fall a sleep driving one round narrow country lanes ,with the petrol ones you need a tanker behind you ,and with the diesel you have to shout to talk to the mrs ********************************but they are GREAT GREAT  GREAT  fun to drive and own,you cant go to much wrong with a transit unless your front spring hangers have fell of ,hope this helps ,best wishes from billy a absolute transit fanatic :-)

My MK2 Transit Camper is such a thrill to drive it feels every little bump in the road and wonders all over the road when it feels like it. The speedo is 10mph out so you think you are going much faster. You have to wear your clogs to assist the braking, simply open the drivers door and use your clog assisted brakes. The drivers window usually does fall out but duct tape sorts this out and the heater fan always screams but the old MK2's are really great fun to drive and quite economical too.

Tony1961.
