On my zig unit the rocker switches have "on-site" and "touring" positions. So, if your zig is set up the same, you need to switch the switch to "touring" if you're travelling.
Yes, switch the fridge to 12v when you're driving, I tend to use gas rather than the hook-up when I'm on site, frees up the 240v for other stuff, and I find the fridge is quite economical on the gas and for some reason is also colder!
Does your zig unit say if 'up' is touring or on site? on mine 'up' is touring and 'down' is on site but it may not be the same.
All the controls for my fridge are on the fridge (ElectroluxRM275). 12v when driving, then switch to hook-up when at site. Nothing on my Zig unit relates to my fridge, just fresh/waste water levels, power levels, over hob extractor fan & light switches.
On our cassette toilet a C2 model, you need to fill the water tank bit and add some pink liquid. Also put a small amount of water and some blue liquid in the bottom bit.
If its a C3 model the top bit (flush water) is filled from the onboard water tank. I think this is correct, but if not I'm sure someone more knowlegable will be along soon.
Yes that's right-some models (C3) don 't use pink stuff as there isn't a separate fresh water fill for toilet.Fresh Water to flush comes from Main water tank when you press button
I think it's been mentioned on here before but I'll repeat it for newcomers, the 'pink stuff' frequently causes lots of black mould to appear in the flush water and it can be difficult to get it off the bowl. I have heard that aquakem, who I think have known about this for many years, are bringing out a new version which does not cause this problem. I'm not sure if it is available yet. Does anybody know?

seems unlikely, given that they also sell some stuff that gets rid of the black bits, [cynical - moi ]
we have abandoned aquastuff, and use carasept or more recently tablets called t-blet [see neill www.motorcaravanning.co.uk ]
