Hi Daevid,
I have a 1993 Hymer 544 2.5td. From new I have averaged 30.3 to the gallon. Normally whilst travelling on the Continent I average 34, but with taking it easy I can maintain 36.
On some trips in the UK I have been as low as 23mpg., it all depends on how heavy your foot is and what the traffic is like. Incidentally I always carry a full tank of water, to me this is number one priority, no matter where I go and I always MT my toilet cassette before leaving a site.
Cheers
Tassie
