What bothers me is that the well-informed, such as members of this list, would spot the obvious - far too cheap - in fact did do, but someone without that knowledge is just going to think they have spotted a bargain.

Good con tricks rely on the greed of the person being conned, but also on ignorance.

As you say, let's be careful out there.

If it seems too good to be true then it is.

I once had my ebay account hijacked. Someone put two cars on from America

Ebay were brilliant about it they responded very quickly. Froze my account for a while til it was sorted.

I was more scared that they got my paypal details. Luckily they hadn't

Thanks god ebay finally found it and took it off. Got to be careful - if paying for something via paypal use ur credit card as if things go wrong have the backup of the credit card fraud legislation for backup be careful
