Does anyone know where I can purchase a freestanding table, similar to the ones in caravans, that can be used both in and out of the MH? The legs fold underneath. The only ones I can find are the camping fold up ones which are very flimsy.
You could try a caravan breakers, or make your own with some MFC, I've seen the legs for sale in caravan dealers. Or I have one I could sell you but postage would be a lot as they are quite heavy.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
We bought a tripod base that uses the single leg table from the campervan. We can use this inside or out. The legs splay out quite a long way and it seems very stable.
The tripod base can be purchased from any camping/caravanning accessories shop.
I bought the fold down legs from a camping shop and the table top from John Lewis for £5.
They were clearing out their kitchen displays at the time and had all sorts of bits and pieces up for sale. I purchased an undamaged side panel, luckly the width was what I wanted, I only had to cut one end and used the edging from the cut off section on the piece I wanted. A couple of hours work but well worth it.
If you can find an old caravan at the bottom of someones garden it might be worth asking for the table. On our travels we have seen lots of them lying rotting away.
Hi, no offence meant but I would stay away from the tripod base. Try leaning on the corner of the table and see what happens. I have seen many accidents with them.
We bought the legs from ebay but was outbid on the table top, so made our own. It does the job and is very strong, and folds up neatly to store behind the drivers seat.
Here is the dealer, he always has some table legs for sale.
Yes that is a lot. I'm sure I paid £12 for my pair of switch legs, may be it was a different dealer, but its a good idea to check back now and then to see if anything new comes on. Caz may be worth finding out how much to post your table to Keith.
We got one of the white plastic ones to fit between thw two beds for breakfast, and its great. May be a bit low for outside though, the one they've got in now has 2 height adjustments.
