Hi, Eveyone

I am looking to fit some extra security and have seen the Fiamma "D" locks what do you think? are they any good,  are they likely to cause more damage if someone really wants to get in ?? are there any other security measures you would recommend

Thanks

Brian

Brian.  I fitted the extra fiamma locks to the outside of my bessacar. Think theyre the D locks youre on about.  They swivel and you push the knob in as you lock it, is that the ones.   I have them on my main door and also my  main locker so that I can double lock my sporting tackle.   I have also fitted the Fiamma locks  on the two front doors.  They fit on the inside under the arm rests ( no drilling needed)  They are perfect for securing the van at night while your inside, especially on the french motorway service areas  as added protection against forced entry after a gas attack.  I also have some of the small sensors that you can stick on doors and windows that go off if someone tries to gain entry.   You cant be to careful over there.  Ive got friends who have actually been gassed then robbed whilst knocked out.     If I was particularly worried about a certain spot for night parking I would lock the main camper door from the outside with both locks then climb back in through the front door and double lock that from the inside.   Main thing to remember is if you have to get out in a hurry, fire etc you need to know where your door keys are for quick exit.        Shame we have to go to so much trouble but its a sign of the times and getting more so.
