I agree depressing the clutch would put a lot of strain on the clutch release mechanism and would lead to premature failure .
I have to leave my handbrake on and chock the wheels as its parked on a slope.Ive never had any problems with sticking brakes drums or disc models but i do move the MH regularly
Im more bothered about the tyres being ruined by flattening them and being distorted out of shape, its happened once and it wont again so move them regularly just a foot will do.
