been down to oxfordshire this week. after brekky the mrs gets out the hoover.not a 12v jobby. the dyson big boy she uses at home......it was nicely sneaked down behind the bed so i did not see it as i was too busy around the motorhome preparing for the journey from Hastings...i said there are not many people take a big hoover in a motorhome ....or am i wrong.
------------- got the motorhome......waiting to pack up work and dissapear off into the sunset
Vacuum cleaner ??? No way
Washing and ironing ??? No way
Cooking and washing up ?? occasionally
I thought that we motorhomed to enjoy ourselves, and if I enjoyed any of the above I would rather be at home.
Reading a good novel, lazing around, people watching, good restaurants, cozy bars, birdwatching, fishing, cycling, swimming or just plain doing nothing.
Dustpan it is for us too - will hoover it our before we leave but DEF NOT TAKING A HOOVER AWAY WITH US. Have to agree with u Brenda - def MH to enjoy ourselves and get away from the rat race so to speak. We go away to read and relax to the max - plenty of beer and fresh air, people watching and generally doing nothing which is what i like to do as well as sun bath if the weathers nice of course lol
When we had our motorhome we used to take our dyson with us, We had our dogs with us and the dog hairs were everywhere on the carpet and bits of grass /dirt ect.
So a quick hoover daily did the trick to keep it clean. Got T.T now so def wont be taking The Dyson now.
We have an upright vacum with rotating roller and a light only 400 watts use it on the inverter or genny, Forget getting on hands and knee`s with a dust pan, Anyway Auto trail fit vacum`s in all there models, if only there was enough room for a dishwasher

So after brekky she hoovers. Does she do that every day? You need to take her in hand matey. Its called "H O L I D A Y".
I don't believe it....(said in Victor Meldrew voice!). Are you NUTS!!!! Life is w-a-y- too short for housey worky stuff let alone leisure time!
I only resorted to taking one of those teeny wee rechargeable hand held sucking up jobbies after the year my son-in-law had a disaster with the sugar canister, (went absolutely everywhere), and the hubby plus the dustpan and brush, just wasn't doing it! BUT I hasten to add......this is purely for emergency situations only. When we get back is time enough for a pukka clean up!
