I hope that they fitted the metal type valves Jeanann & not the usuall rubber type. Fiat recalled all motorhomes on the ducatto chassis that run high tyre pressures last year (ours included) for replacement of the rubber valves, which have been known to blow out at the pressures usually run on a motorhome.

It is just worth a check, if not the metal ones, ask the supplier to ring Michelin for advice, letting them know that pressures up to 75psi may be recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.

I know I can't always get the most expensive - who can? But I do try and get the best I can for the money I have :-)

Mark - yes thye did automatically fit the metal valves so no problem there

'The Marshalls' - it was not a case of buying a cheaper tyre as all the tyres priced were Michelin XC Camping - the difference was just in the price.

so how much were  the tyres? just curious and  how many miles did you do before you needed a set?
