I've been looking at awnings for a while and just can't make my mind up.  So therefore can't really give any advice.  This one's on my shortlist.  Would you be able to clamp it on to your rail?  I remember seeing some chat about it somewhere - maybe the Just Kampers chat forum (type awning in the search bit) or maybe club 80-90.

You could also go to  www.reimo.co.uk and email them.  I recently emailed them to ask why this awning is so much cheaper on their German website (apparently its to do with import tax-blooming Government), they did reply the following day, so they should help you.

thanks julie

after asking the question how do you fix it, i found they dont use the fiq of eight plastic as standard, it comes with a pole you lay on your gutter and clamp so i may be able to use that system.

its just the quality and stabilty ime concerned about cos 14ft x 10ft is a good size.

From what I've been told Reimo provide good quality equipment.  Thats why they are a bit dearer than some alternatives (you only have to look at the price of their van conversions to see this).

I think it should be reasonably stable as it has the three poles that run along the roof from one end to the other.  I imagine this acts like a cross brace in windy conditions.  So it shouldn't move around as much as the traditional tunnel tents.  You could also invest in the awning tie down kit they sell at Just Kampers.

Does anyone know where to buy a groundsheet for a Reimo Tour Action 11 awning?  Campershop don't have one and Reimo UK appears to have gone.
