Still on the look out for that perfect layout for us (2 kids, 2 oldies)

narrowed it down slighlty, the Auto Sleeper Symbol ES seems to fit the bill with 2 exra berths in the roof.

Do you have any experince of one? Is it worth the extra size (length and width) over a Trooper say?

any comments welcome, didn't realise how wide the variety was!

Ruth

We have a Duetto (similar size and and layout) but no children. We love the layout and having a loo is extremely handy.  We tend to sleep across the van and therefore are able to leave the infills at home.

The extra length would not really be noticeable and we manage to get ours into most parking spaces although we do tend to choose the outside of the carpark and reverse in so the overhang is over the path/grass.

The Trooper is lovely and low but I would imagine a little claustrophobic for 4 whereas the Symbol has a longer bench seat when down after travelling, a single seat and a swivel passengers seat.

Best thing is to go to a dealer and play around with them, putting bed up lying down.  All sitting round table etc.  If it is a good dealer they will not have any problem with that and will help you.

We bought from Cotswold motorcaravans near Gloucester and found them great to deal with.

Good luck in your search.
