Would anyone be interested in having someone come to their home and wash and wax their MH/campervan? How about having a valet inside?  If so how much seriously would you be happy paying?  Just an idea I'm having but suddenly thought how nice it would be to come home from holiday and have the MH cleaned for me.  What do you think?

I would absoloutly love an outside valet service for my coach built. I dont mind doing the inside, but can not bare doing the outside, I wash it all the time, soon as I wash its dirty again, but a nice coat of protecting wax just before winter and a nice wash and wax just in time for summer would do me fine,

As for dead flies committing suicide against my windscreen and cab area!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhh

Hi- I think its a good idea as long as the cleaner knows how to wash the acrilic windows without scratching them, and does a proffesional job, I would pay a tenner and also supply the water, hoses, ect. I would not expect the roof to be included. Cant see it working in the south east just at the moment though !

I'd love someone to do that for me.  Trying to get Hubby to do it is like trying to get blood out of a stone, and being disabled I find it difficult myself.  Having an imposed hosepipe ban makes the whole situation much worse!  I HATE black streaks - they do my head in, and even if I can reach the ones lower down, I can't reach the top and it looks like the whole van is wearing a fringed rug

Seeing as I pay £5 to have the car cleaned, & giving the fact that things like windows and vents need someone to take care etc, and the height & so on, I'd probably be willing to pay about £10 or maybe a little more, & be happy to supply the clean, warm water & detergent etc.

Sara

I would imagine a fair price for washing with a wax in the water would be in the region of £10 to £15. There is a lot of work as we all know for this but for £15 they could include a roof wash. (They would need a good set of ladders though)
If they were to polish the outside of the vehicle all over, the plastic trim treated, the wheels polished and tyres treated, I would expect top pay around £35 to £40 as that would take around 4 hours at least to do.
Hope this is helpful, as keeping the vehicl;e clean is a major effort as we all know.
Mike

Hi Paula,
An 'end of season' type valet service would be good.
I know some people are all year round campers, but a large number are May to September and then pack away their camper / caravan for the winter.
To have someone come along and do the inside of the van would be brilliant for me !!
Fridge / loo / cooker upholstery etc.
Maybe a thought !!
Brenda
