Hi

Can the cab be accessed from the living area in a Romahome? And if so how easily?

regards

Hi, last time I looked around one I can't remember being able to access the cab area but there are different versions aren't there some a little bigger than others.  So maybe it depends on that.  I also think you can't because some are 'houses' put on the back of pickups and therefore the housey bit and the vehicle bit can be seperated.

We can walk through in our Dimension, but I think it might be a bit of a squeeze in the smaller ones.

Hi, you can access on the Belingo models, as the vehicle is wider than the C15's

Older C15's have a fixed partition for storage, so no, but mine which is a 1999 model if you are fit then yes, as my son can, but I cant, except in an emergency.

I have a 1989 Romahome hytop for sale, both ebay and MMM magazine starting end of May.

As Lunnie says you can access from cab to living area on the Berlingo models but you do need to be a bit agile.

I once managed to get from cab to van pretty swiftly in an old C15 whilst travelling down a country lane but it was out of necessity to grab the grill pan before it crashed out into a cupboard! Not recommended and needless to say "stow grill pan" was soon added to the list of things to do before moving off!

And no I wasn't driving!!

It depends on the Romahome ....... we can't in ours, well we can, by crawling thro the gap - not recommened lol ........ have a little boy for doing it most of the time lol .. or a long pole for reaching the door locks, from the back and it's raining hard at bed time lol

Hi

Thanx for the replies. I've looked at so many vans (large and small) lately it's a bit of a blur. Would it make any difference if the passenger seat was taken out, it's not needed!!

regards

Most C15 and Berlingo Romahomes have their leisure battery and charging unit under the passenger seat so you would either have to re-site it or climb over it.

But not all C15's have leisure batteries, it is a case of looking and checking, using logic.

Hi this is Lunnie, sorry have been on holiday.

I have a Harrison awning, not an acrylic one but I am not selling at the moment, only the vehicle itself which is on ebay.

Regards - Lunnie ( wildie's mum)
