Has anyone visited Tiree or Coll in their motorhome. Is it worth the journey? We are planning to travel their in July/August. Is electric hookup available on camp sites?

I haven't personally visited either island but I have a friend who has. They didn't stay at a campsite. Wild camping is fine as long as you have the landowner's permission. You can always find somewhere to fill up with water apparently. Couldn't you do without hookup in July/August?  The weather is likely to be ok.

Yeah, I suppose we could use the gas for the fridge but didn't want to drain the leisure battery for the shower as we hoped to park up and cycle a lot rather than drive around. For us, the shower is a necessity especially after cycling in summer.
