Hello, as anyone got the above motorhome, looking maybe next year to change to, from a 1999 van 26ft in length, to a 1993 to 1995 motor home, namely the above chioce should be in that price range
Is this a good choice would you say, One thing that does concern me is the bed over the cab does this drop down low enough to make getting out of it during the night an easy process, i would appreciate your comments
The Hymer we used to have was a shorter model but I would think the overcab bed would be the same.
It pulled down to about the level of the top of the seat backrests, which needed reclining slightly so as not to get in the way.
The B694 having 6 wheels, has I think a gross permitted weight of 4500 kilos, so it is good for carrying a good lot of kit.
The Hymer website http://www.hymer.com/eu/index.php?kategorie=447
will let you download the latest brochures which will probably show similar layouts if you look at the same length of van.

Hi People,
We have recently purchased a Hymer 694 tag axel 1992 motorhome.
We live in North Cornwall and purchased so that we can escape on weekends and have also booked the ferry from Dover to Calais on the 01st August.
Last weekend on our return from Falmouth the gearbox blew up, completely destroying the casing aswell!!!!!!
Does anybody know where I can get hold of a gearbox for a 1992 Fiat Ducato 2.5 T diesel???
Apart from the gearbox problem a well made motorhome that we hope will take us to Europe this year :-) . Any help appreciated
