BigDawg - no probs with asking, that why we post.
We had no damp with the Hymer, or any major problems apart from the kids growing too quickly, when we purchased it we wanted something that had the beds already made up. It was the one with the bunk beds at the back. The internal space was very limited but at the time of purchase appeared to be ok. Saying that we did 8500mile in it, in the short time we had it, even went up to Nordkamp the most northerly point of mainland Europe (4300 miles round trip), and down to Sapin a couple of times in it.
We now have the Rapido A class, 986F on the Fiat chassis. 7M long with double bed at back, inverted L kitchen and longitudinal seats, so much space its unbeliveable. Can easily sit 6 people at the table in comfort.(Good job there is a lot of internal room as we have just bought a dog who is growing radidly- we knew she would be big, but she is not even 5 months old and is already the size of a labrador).
Have done nealry 12000 miles in it already, not even 2 years old (108 night away in it to date) very comfortable, great finish, very good specifiaction, handles well but drinks the juice when hurtling down the French Autoroutes at 90mph about 17mpg but thats expected at that speed. We have looked around others at the Peterborough show but have not found anything that comes close to the layout we want, the finish and specification. (Taking it in to have leather interior next Tuesday - just after I get back from France after doing the booze run for Christmas)
Any other questions just ask.
