Hi all, Does anyone know where I can get extended poles and braces for the wind out awning and rear steadies? I ask because I use a wheelchair and I just cant reach with the normal equipment.

what make of awnning do you have.

just got some parts for my fiamma awnning from frontier leisure in gwent

could you buy or  exstend the handels ,do you no any welders

good look

the easiest thing i can think of is a trip to a local place that makes gates or does any type of welding. it would only be a ten min job for them to weld some extra round bar on for you.

The only way to hold down the awning in windy weather is with a tie down kit which needs to be threaded over the front and securely pegged down, no other way really. It should not be to difficult to to get a small metal working firm to extend the winding handle, they only need to remove the rivets holding the hooked end and piece in a length of tube before replacing the hook. The wind down steadys can be supplied and fitted by any motorhome dealer with workshop facilities.  Hope all this helps.  kiev

Fiamme do a telescopic wind handle, I had one for my awning.  I used Glenns of Nottingham for bits, they are very helpfull and do mail order.
