I have blown air heating in my new van, that runs on Diesel only. I've not had any experience of this heating system, and have not used it yet. Though i have noticed that it will not work if the leisure battery is really low.

How does the cost of running this system compare to the fitted gas heaters that i've had before ? Also as you need battery power as well to run it. How quick will it run down a fully charged 85 amp leisure battery ?

I would appreciate any help, to help me understand the pro's & con's of this system.

We used ours for 4 days without moving the van just before Christmas and it was still going strong, although the battery level was getting low.  We were out during the day and so had no heating on then, but it was very cold outside and so we used it a lot.

Yes that could be helpful to chat to you. I had a leisure battery that would not hold a full charge (now replaced under warranty) so when i wild camped for one night in October i subsequently never had any heating.
